Our fretless "minstrel" style banjo, 10 inch pot from the early 1920's. New African greenwood neck with flamed maple fretless fingerboard, burl maple headcap. Added 1/4 inch solid brass tone ring, Waverly tailpiece, strung with Aquila nylon strings, ebony violin-style friction pegs, calfskin head, 5/8ths walnut bridge. Neck proportions are copy of late 1890's Dobson.
